Am Qasim Restaurants is a Saudi brand that started with a single tannour in 1987 and today runs branches in Makkah, Jeddah, Riyadh, Madinah, Taif, Rabigh, Abha and Al Qunfudhah. What we offer franchise partners isn’t just a trade name, but a complete operating system tested across eight cities and very different ordering patterns.
What does the franchise include?
- The right to use the trademark and the complete visual identity.
- Recipes for the core items and step-by-step preparation specifications.
- Central training for the kitchen team before opening, with a mandatory consistency test on areekah, masoub and mutabbaq.
- The list of approved suppliers and supply terms.
- Operational and marketing support in the first months, and a dedicated local SEO page for the branch on the official website.
What do we look for in a partner?
Previous operating experience — not necessarily in restaurants — a commitment to being there in person in the first months, and a location in a genuinely busy residential neighbourhood rather than an expensive high-street storefront. We don’t open just to grow, which is why we turn down more locations than we accept.
The steps

- An introductory meeting within two weeks to discuss the location and the operating model.
- An on-site study of the location by the operations team.
- Signing the contract and starting fit-out and training.
Franchise FAQs
How long does it take to open a new branch?
From signing the contract to opening usually takes four to six months, including fit-out, team training and the consistency test. The timing depends mainly on how ready the location is.
Is the franchise available outside Saudi Arabia?
Our current focus is the Saudi market. Applications from outside the Kingdom are considered separately, and we don't commit to a timeline for them.
Can the menu be changed at a franchise branch?
The core menu is fixed and can't be changed. Local items can be added with operations' approval one year after opening.
Do you help with choosing a location?
Yes. The operations team studies the location on site and gives a binding opinion. We don't sign a contract for a location that hasn't passed the study.
